Located at the corner of State and Liberty in downtown Salem, the Gray Building was ready for an extensive remodel. First constructed in 1891 by the three Gray brothers, the building has served many purposes over the history of Salem, including: the seat of city government, a justice court, the YMCA, a dentist office, a hardware store, and more. In CBTWO’s approach to the remodel, attention to detail was paramount. With bright interiors, careful moldings, and intricate exterior details, the finished building is an important character in Salem’s downtown.
